Neil Amstrong is very famous. He studies space and he knows a lot about space. He was an astronomy teacher! He was the first man on the moon. But he had to train for one year. He died when he was 82. He went to the moon in fast rocket ship! Why are their lots of holes on the moon? The answer is because lots of rocket ships have crashed into the moon!

In July 1969, he went to space with Michael Collins and Buzz Aldrin to study the moon. They are other astronauts! When they got to the moon, Michael Collins stayed on the spaceship so Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin could explore. They did some experiments and took lots of photographs of the moon.
